Put simply, developmental milestones are things most children can do by a certain age. Children reach these milestones in how they play, learn, speak, act, and move. It can be anything from taking a first step,  to smiling for the first time, to waving “bye-bye”, or to saying their first words. The following resources can help you see if your child is on track in where they should be.

    • Find age-specific milestones for children to check on their progress.

    • Search by milestone topic (motor skills, communication, feeding, etc.) to see how your child is doing.
