Investing In Quality Peterborough has partnered with the Niijkiwendidaa Anishnaabekwewag Services Circle and the City of Peterborough to offer a unique learning series that will focus on the topics of Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion for our early learning community. These sessions will be ongoing throughout 2022-2023. It is our hope that the identified J.E.D.I. advocates will be instrumental in keeping this work alive in our community. For more information click on the WFS Professional Learning Guide below.
The Workforce Strategy Professional Learning Guide
This resource will guide our community in our Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion work. It is intended to be used in conjunction with the C.A.R.E learning series which is designed to promote awareness and better understanding of Indigenous people and their history while embedding anti-oppressive and anti-colonial practices.
Pre-Training Survey
Please take a moment to answer our short pre-training survey. As we begin our community- based training with the intention of further exploring the concepts of Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) it is important to landmark the start of our personal journey. We are doing this in our community by completing the attached Pre-Training Self Reflection Questionnaire. All responses are anonymous.
