School Based Rehabilitation Services
Five Counties Children’s Centre provides in-school rehabilitation services to enable the student’s attendance and participation in publicly funded educational settings. School-Based Rehabilitation Services include Occupational Therapy (OT), Physiotherapy (PT) and Speech-Language Pathology (SLP).
Referrals are either made internally through Five Counties’ staff or by School Board staff for those children identified at school. Parents of children not currently involved with Five Counties Children’s Centre are encouraged to speak to their child’s teacher if they have questions about whether their child may be eligible for the service.
School Health Support Services

Additionally, the Centre provides physiotherapy in Peterborough County to eligible students. Referrals must be made by the private school or home-schooling parent to Home and Community Care Support Services.
