School Age Community of Practice- May: Outdoor play and experiences

• This event is for School Age educators working specifically in school age programs in Peterborough city and county.
• You must register to attend.
• Important: Limited spaces for sessions- If you are unable to attend, please let us know so that we can give the space to someone on the waiting list.
• WE ARE A SCENT FREE FACILITY.

Come join us in learning about the outdoor program we have worked to create. During this community of practice we will discuss:

• how we created the routines we follow
• the challenges we’ve faced
• differences we’ve noticed in behaviour from being outside vs. inside,
• how we help children to learn their own boundaries by making them feel capable, competent, and independent.

Come and discuss the importance of outdoor play and interact with outdoor experiences! Learn how we’ve built up our program to where it is now, and how we’ve gotten families on board.
