Outdoor Communities of Practice-Book Study Session #1: Register Here!

This year’s Outdoor communities of Practice will be a study of the book Natural Curiosity-A Resource for Educators (The Importance of Indigenous Perspectives in Children’s Environmental Inquiry) by Doug Anderson, Julie Comay and Lorraine Chiarotto. Educators who attended the Land Based Learning through Natural Curiosity on October 14th received this book.

We will come together over 7 sessions both in-person and virtually. You only need to register via the registration link on this page.  This will register you for the entire book study series. 

Sessions will be held on the following Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00 pm

November 15 & December 6 will be held in person at Five Counties Children’s Centre

January 10, 31 & February 21 will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams

March 20 & April 10 will be held in person at Five Counties Children’s Centre

Please note Five Counties is a scent free facility.

For professional learning opportunities after 4:30 pm:  The main doors at Five Counties are closed after 4:30pm. Please press the buzzer at the North door (smaller door on the front left of the building, when facing the building). Five Counties is a scent free facility.
