- The pandemic has contributed to leadership challenges in establishing really great rapport with staff. Too often, we are seeing people misunderstanding one another, or jumping to conclusions, even when people are working with the best intentions This 2 part, experiential workshop is designed to support you to really show up as your authentic self as a leader and create an environment that is able to grow in trust and openness (or to repair relationships where some trust has been lost).
-
Part 1: Wednesday, October 5th from 9:30am-3:00 p.m. Light refreshments & lunch will be served.
In the first half day workshop, we will identify key issues result in a loss of openness and trust between a supervisor and employees because people hide their mistakes, or pretend they’re okay or pretend they agree when they don’t. We’ll explore a useful strategy that will help you restore a feeling of safety for employees to be honest with you and one another and will contribute to the deepening of integrity and ethics in your workplace. You will leave with some action steps to take over the next month to cultivate more trust and openness, that will be guided by your authentic style and approach to leadership. These steps will address at least one of your identified top priorities.
In the afternoon session on October 5th, we will be facilitating a feedback session addressing Special Need Resourcing and Investing in Quality service delivery /renewed process with SNR & IIQ.

Part 2: Wednesday, November 2nd from 9:30-12:30. Light refreshments will be served.
In the second half of the workshop, we will hold learning circles where we can share what’s worked in the past 4 weeks, what has been learned and how to build on these lessons for refining the approach to the issue that you’ve selected. Once you’re really clear about your approach through these circle conversations, we’ll complete the morning by practicing the skills of saying what you mean, but doing so with kindness, authenticity and in a way that keeps your staff in open conversation with you so you can expand the scope for your authentic leadership style at work.
You only need to register once to attend both sessions: please register via the Oct. 5 session. This automatically registers you for both parts of this series.
-
Please register before September 23 so we have time to arrange lunch.

Location of both sessions: In-person Knights of Columbus, 317 Hunter St West, Peterborough, ON. K9H 2M1
