Evening Open House for Child Care Worker/ Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day

This event is our first time coming back together in person for Appreciation since the onset of Covid 19.  Taking into consideration the Appreciation Survey results and variances in ways in which educators like to be acknowledged, the Resource Inclusion Coaches and the Capacity Building Coaches will be delivering treat bags during Appreciation Week AND we are offering this informal Open House to celebrate together for those who miss our traditional dinner.

Please note that appetizers & refreshments will be available at the Open House.  We will take into consideration that individuals have varied nutrition needs and when we are choosing appetizer options this will be taken into consideration.

Also, we will continue the tradition of program raffle baskets.  If your program wishes to participate, bring one for another program and take one home for yours.  In the past these ‘treat’ baskets have offered chocolates, candy, coffee, tea, gift certificates, resource books, etc. We know you are creative and those who wish to participate will make beautiful gifts.

We are pleased to have Sandra Robinson say a few words beginning at 6:15 p.m. and are also excited to have Adam White, the past chair of the Five Counties Children’s Centre’s Board speak at this event.
