- What: Five Counties Children’s Centre hosts its 50th Annual Meeting.
- When: Monday, June 22, 2026, at 3 pm
- Where: Five Counties Children’s Centre (Dr. Mary Thain Site, 872 Dutton Rd.) in Peterborough
- Why: Five Counties will recognizing its achievements over the past year, while celebrating the work of its community partners and supporters. The agenda includes:
- Keynote speaker Jon Thurston, a gold-medal winning Paralympic wheelchair curler from Dunsford, Ontario, sharing his journey and story.
- Presentation of the 2026 Community High Five Awards to deserving individuals, groups and community partners.
- Announcement of the second annual Dave Adams Legacy Award, which reconizes an individual who embodies the spirit, leadership and commitment of long-time Five Counties staff member, Dave Adams.
- Recognition of long-serving Five Counties staff.
- Report from Five Counties CEO Scott Pepin on the Centre’s past year activities and accomplishments.
