- What: Five Counties Children’s Centre hosts its 49th Annual Meeting.
- When: Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at 3 pm
- Where: Five Counties Children’s Centre (Dr. Mary Thain Site, 872 Dutton Rd.) in Peterborough
- Why: Five Counties will be celebrating its past achievements over the past year. Also on the agenda are:
- Presentation of the 2025 Community High Five Awards to deserving individuals, groups and community partners.
- Announcement of the first-ever Dave Adams Legacy Award. This new award recognizes an individual who embodies the spirit, leadership and commitment of long-time Five Counties staff member, Dave Adams.
- Address from keynote speaker Noella Klawitter, a gold-winning Paralympian and Director of KidsInclusive Centre for Child and Youth Development. Drawing on personal experiences and integrating scientific research, Noella will share high-impact insights and practical tools on how individuals and organizations can build and sustain resilience, even in the most challenging times
- Recognition of long-serving Five Counties staff.
- Report from Five Counties CEO Scott Pepin on the Centre’s past year activities and accomplishments.
