Spread the word, not illness.
Five Counties Children’s Centre continues to take precautions to protect our kids, clients, families and staff from illness. Please do your part when visiting our Centre sites.
Stay Home if Sick
- If you or your child is unwell or feeling sick, you’re asked to stay home. This is especially true if you are suffering from a fever, vomiting/gastrointestinal issues or coughing (that brings up mucus/phlegm).
- Contact us as soon as you can and we are happy to reschedule your appointment for another day/time when you are feeling better.
We Are Mask-Friendly
- As of April 11, all Five Counties sites are mask-friendly for kids, clients, families, visitors and staff. This means wearing a mask will be up to you.
- Masks are still available at our Centre sites if you want to wear one.
- Families can still request our staff to wear a mask during an appointment if you want us to. We’re happy to work with you and support your family to ensure the most appropriate measures are in place
- Let’s all respect and support everyone’s masking choice.
Other Precautions
- Please wash your hands with soap and water. Hand sanitizers are also provided throughout our Centre sites for your use.
- For added protection, enhanced cleaning and disinfecting is being done at all our Centre sites.
Waiting Areas
- The waiting areas at our Peterborough and Lindsay sites are now open and available for use.
- The waiting area at our Cobourg site is currently unavailable. We ask clients to text us or knock on the door to gain access to the building for appointments.
We thank you for your understanding and co-operation!
