Occupational therapy assists children to develop independence, daily living, gross motor and fine motor skills. This includes problems with feeding, play, sensory, perceptual, mobility and hand skills. Services are available to children up to the age of 6 with the exception of children with physical disabilities who are seen up to the age of 19.
If you are not sure if your child requires assistance in these areas, you may phone the Centre and speak to an Occupational Therapist. Or you can click here to review age specific occupational therapy skill development guidelines.
